The book Ethnography is a very informative book. It talks about culture in ways that I have never realized. In the reading it talks about clubs and organizations that you may be involved in and you join those organizations because you may have something in common with other people in the group. Ethnography goes on to explain that this would be a culture. I am part a sorority on campus and this definitely applies for my sorority which is Alpha Sigma Alpha. One of the book's main points of discussion is the different languages that are used in the world today and their approaches along with the explanation of ethnography and what they do.
This book was very hard to follow compared to My Freshman Year but it gave great examples to help get its point across. I liked how it started with the vision of Roger the juggler and how that relates to the topic that is further discussed in this book. It gives good definitions for everything along with detailed explanations to help you better understand what they are talking about. Though they did use a large vocabulary it was still understandable to read and process what they were saying in Ethnography.
